Portal information
Privacy notice
This notice explains how information is handled by the ESMP certificate verification portal.
At a glance
- Verification is available by certificate ID only.
- There is no participant-name search or public certificate directory.
- There are no visitor accounts, analytics, tracking cookies, or participant-name searches.
Who operates this portal
The certificate verification portal is operated by the Evidence Synthesis Mentorship Program. Privacy and certificate-record questions can be sent to contact@evidencesynthesismentorship.org.
Certificate lookups
The portal processes the certificate ID entered by a visitor. If the ID matches a record, the page displays the participant name, program, cohort, issue date, certificate ID, and credential status. Anyone who has the exact certificate ID can view these details.
The portal does not allow searches by participant name and does not publish a certificate or participant directory. A participant's private registration email is not displayed, returned by public verification, or available as a public search field.
Why information is used
Information is used to verify ESMP credentials, maintain accurate certificate records, and respond to manual-review or correction requests.
Certificate data
Certificate records are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Each record contains a one-way hash of the certificate ID together with the participant name, program, cohort, and issue date. Registration emails are not stored in this online verification database. The portal has no visitor accounts, public administration area, analytics, or tracking cookies.
Technical records
A certificate ID becomes part of the verification page address. The Cloudflare Worker converts the ID to a one-way hash before querying the private database. Cloudflare may include requests in routine technical logs together with information such as timestamps, network addresses, browser details, and requested pages.
Service providers and retention
Cloudflare provides the portal hosting and private D1 database. The portal does not sell lookup information or send it to advertising or analytics services. If you choose to send an email, the message is handled outside this portal by your email provider and the program's email service.
Corrections and privacy requests
To report an inaccurate certificate record or ask how information is handled, email contact@evidencesynthesismentorship.org. Include the certificate ID and a brief description of the requested correction, but avoid sending unrelated sensitive information.
